Trust In DeVos

There is exciting political news coming of of West Michigan. The prestigious DeVos family who call that area home, have publicly stated their support for Florida senator Marco Rubio in the Republican primary election. Their assistance arriving at a pivotal moment for Rubio’s campaign. Dick DeVos appears to have sided with Rubio after seeing Jeb Bush drop out of the race. Nonetheless, his family has consistently endorsed Republican politicians, and they will surely provide help towards Rubio and his current campaign via generous campaign contributions to the super political action committee behind his present bid (learn more about Dick’s political donations in this MLIVE interview exclusive).

Dick and Betsy DeVos have been friendly since the mid-aughts, when the DeVos were in Florida pushing for the growth of school choice laws throughout the state. They credit Rubio for much of it’s subsequent success. For some time now, Dick DeVos and his family have remained relatively quiet throughout the process of the primaries, until recently. Richard M. DeVos Sr., NBA franchise team owner, and part founder of Amway, contributed two hundred and fifty thousand dollars to Marco Rubio supporting, Conservative Solutions Super PAC. Additionally, he made matching twenty-seven hundred dollar donations to Rubio’s committee as well as Jeb Busch’s, back in November.

From what I can tell, Dick DeVos feels Marco Rubio became the superior candidate after much consideration, and after following the primaries unfold. He like the rest of his family, is a careful man, whose wisdom and knack for business shows in his actions. Considering how he perceives the presidential campaign is important. I feel it have given me insight, and knowledge as far as the way iconic figures like DeVos read politics.
